CD Projekt Red recently rolled out another patch to "Cyberpunk 2077." Unfortunately, the patch that was developed to fix some of the glitches in the game features a bug. While the game developer said it is working to fix it, it also offered a workaround that players could use to temporarily resolve the issue.

On its official Twitter account, CD Projekt Red acknowledged a new bug that several players earlier encountered. Based on reports, The Down on the Street quest is not triggered by Takemura's conversation. Specifically, when V receives a holocall from Takemura, he will just stare at players and will not say anything.

The developers said that it is currently working on a permanent fix to this bug but also offered a clever way to possibly fix the issue. On its official website, CD Projekt Red shared the step by step guide on how players could solve this new "Cyberpunk 2077" bug. First, players need to load a game save before Takemura and V leave the office of Wakako.

After that, they should finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office as soon as possible. Players should then skip to 23h right after the conversation and when the quest updates. It is also important that players check if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura commences.

It is not unusual for players to report bugs in any game since the developers have no way to test every possible issue before releasing the game. While it appears normal, "Cyberpunk 2077" is seemingly a special case. The game is pestered with bugs and glitches that frustrate players since Dec. 2020.

Following several release delays, CD Projekt Red decided to launch "Cyberpunk 2077" last year. While it pleased the gaming community because of the game's arrival, the overall gaming experience was compromised because of multiple bugs and glitches. The game was even removed at one point from the official PlayStation Store because of this.

CD Projekt Red earlier this month released a video offering its apologies and promising to gamers that it would fix the bugs in the game. It also issued refunds to some game owners. Despite these issues, "Cyberpunk 2077" was recently hailed as the game to achieve the biggest digital launch in the history of gaming. It was also one of the games with an immense player base although it shrunk to 79% because of these bugs and glitches.

"Cyberpunk 2077" is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
