Elizabeth Olsen has become one of today's most applauded actresses in Hollywood. Following the massive success of Marvel in their projects, it is not surprising why many people have come to adore the Avengers star.
In one of her latest interviews, she recalled how she has always looked up to her sisters, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and tried to emulate their style. Amid the discussion, she, also, shared an "unhygienic habit" that she had back then, according to Cheat Sheet.
She explained that she has always admired her sisters' clothes and other sartorial pieces. So, in emulating their styles, she frequented thrift shops and second-hand clothing stores.
Then, Elizabeth Olsen revealed that she used to wear those second-hand items "without washing them first." Looking back at those years, though, she now feels "mortified" about this habit of hers.
Despite that being the case, the Marvel actress noted that she did get "good deals" in those stores. She, also, stated that her mom was proud of her because she was "budget-conscious" when it comes to fashion.
In relation to her family, a separate report from Cheat Sheet previously uncovered that not many people had an idea that Elizabeth Olsen is a younger sister to the famous Olsen twins. As explained, she has made a name for herself, causing her fans not to realize that she is related to Mary Kate and Ashley.
Even so, the Wind River star previously revealed that she did not want the public to think of "nepotism" when talking about her and her success. She did not want them to see that her career and her path in the entertainment industry were all because of her sisters' fame and success.
Because of this, Elizabeth Olsen once, reportedly, considered changing her name from Olsen to Chase, which is her middle name, upon joining the show business. After a while, though, she decided to go with her real name as she is proud to be a sister to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, adding that she already "got over" the fact that some individuals might cite nepotism as the reason behind her success.
These days, Elizabeth Olsen remains occupied with her work. She is currently working on one of Marvel's latest projects, WandaVision, which is the studios' first-ever television series, according to Comic Book.
The miniseries dropped its pilot episode on Disney+ earlier this month. Paul Bettany joins Olsen as they reprise their respective roles as Vision and Wanda, hence, the title.
