Jennifer Lawrence continues to work on her latest project with Netflix, Don't Look Up. While things were going well among all the cast and crew members these past few weeks, this seemingly changed when a "controlled glass explosion" did not go according to plan.
Us Weekly said that the 30-year-old actress had an injury while working on the set of the film. A shard of glass, reportedly, cut her eyelid, with sources claiming that "it would not stop bleeding."
The production stopped its course on Friday following the accident. But, as for the Hunger Games star, she is "expected to recover."
TMZ, also, learned that Jennifer Lawrence was with Timothee Chalamet when the accident took place. They were, reportedly, filming the final scene of the material at 1 in the morning in Boston.
On set, the actress was inside a restaurant, wherein the window was supposed to explode. The publication even released a clip of a location that they were filming before the "controlled glass scene."
In the end, though, sources who have access to the production told the outlet that the injury "was not that bad." Even so, the extent of the accident remains unclear.
Earlier in January, Netflix dropped the "first snippet of footage" from Don't Look Up. The Daily Mail reported that the material featured Jennifer Lawrence's and Leonardo DiCaprio's characters as Kate Dibiasky and Dr. Randall Mindy, respectively.
While a trailer has already made its way to small screens, the filming will, reportedly, continue to take place until mid-February. As for the release date, the comedy film will become available on the streaming platform later this year.
Lawrence and DiCaprio play the lead roles in Don't Look Up. It, also, stars Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Timothee Chalamet, Tyler Perry, and Kid Cudi.
Apart from working for the Netflix material, no other specific details have been publicized regarding Jennifer Lawrence's latest movements. The last time that the public saw her outside of work was when she and Cooke Maroney were strolling along The Big Apple amid the pandemic crisis.
Reports said that it was almost a year after they tied the knot in Newport, Rhode Island. While information about the wedding remains scarce, People revealed that they invited over 150 guests, including Adele, Emma Stone, and Kris Jenner.
The same publication stated that the engagement took place earlier in February 2019. Although they did not blatantly share it with the public, witnesses saw the actress wearing a "massive ring" at that time, seemingly confirming that they were about to wed.
