Studio Ghibli offers some of the most captivating animated films and series. While many individuals have already witnessed most, if not all, of their materials, they remain as some of the public's most favorite shows.

Apart from the overall animations and dynamics of every film and series, the characters play significant roles in making the studio a unique and impressive unit. In fact, CBR claimed that they have some of the best heroines in the world of anime.

These heroines are not the typical types of characters who have superpowers and abilities to save the world. More often than not, they are more like ordinary beings who have flaws and issues.

Despite this, though, Studio Ghibli has been able to incorporate impressive elements in the characters, making them the bests of all the bests out there. Accordingly, the publication listed some of the most remarkable heroines from the platform.

Some fans and followers may think of Chihiro as the top-ranking heroine because of Spirited Away's massive popularity and success. However, this is not the case, at all, considering that other female characters offer more elements in being the best heroine.

Nevertheless, Chihiro is still one of the best figures in the world of Ghibli. Reports noted that her ability to rise from challenges makes her a great heroine. Moreover, every character who engages with her ends up becoming a better version of themselves.

Close to Chihiro, Kiki, the titular character from Kiki's Delivery Service, is another best heroine that Studio Ghibli offers to its audience. There is nothing extraordinary with the figure nor in the course of the plot.

But, the same publication argued that her "rawness" makes her a very compelling character. As explained, her story is one of the "most realistic depictions of burn-out ever put on screen."

People who saw Kiki's journey have found her very relatable. Feeling burnt-out from a mundane job happens all the time, making Kiki and her journey one of the best materials from the studio.

The best Studio Ghibli heroine among all, though, is Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. She is a quiet and dutiful character until she instantly becomes a 90-year-old woman, forcing her to move into the magical castle.

Upon realizing her age, she no longer has the time to make pretend with anyone. This gives her the confidence that she dramatically needs, and in turn making her much younger than anyone else.

Silver Petticoat Review, also, emphasized that many individuals particularly love Sophie because of how she feels about herself depending on her age. But, until then, she finds the version of herself that she is happy with, making her a real and relatable character.
