Nearly two decades have passed since the original course of The Powerpuff Girls ended on Cartoon Network. After airing 78 episodes, the fan-favorite material has since been long missed by avid watchers and followers.
While spin-off series, special features, and reboots have become apparent years after the sixth and final season, the public is seemingly focused only on the original installments. In fact, many are still finding resources to rewatch the episodes of the 1998 show.
Unfortunately, the network no longer offers these materials. But, CBR released a list of which episodes that every fan should recall as they have become the all-time favorites of the public.
Bubblevicious is one of the most memorable episodes from The Powerpuff Girls. The reason being is that the course revolves around Bubbles, who is a "fan-favorite character."
In the course of the material, Bubbles becomes furious and frustrated that everyone around her treats her like a baby. In an effort to show everyone her skills, she increases the level of her training exercise to its peak, making her unstoppable and "hardcore."
Moral Decay is another funny yet distinct episode of the cartoon, all because of Buttercup's viciousness. In an attempt to make profits after learning about the "tooth fairy," she concocts a scheme to extract a tooth of anyone she comes across. After exchanging the teeth for dollars, it becomes an obsession, even pushing her to go door-knocking and force her archnemeses to give up their teeth.
On top of the list, the publication named Los Dos Mojos as likely the best and most memorable episode of The Powerpuff Girls. It is the installment wherein Bubbles becomes Mojo Jojo after hitting her head and obtaining amnesia from it.
The real Mojo Jojo becomes irritated, however, because of the imitations from Bubbles. He, then, hits her head, causing her to "wake up" from her condition.
The Powerpuff Girls was supposed to ultimately end its course during its tenth anniversary. This is why a special feature film was made to wrap it all up.
Cartoon Network is, however, against the decision because of the rave and hype of the public toward the series. This, then, led the network to start reruns of some of the episodes in 2012. Four years later, a reboot arrived on the platform. It did not last long, though, as it only ran for three years.
Following the conclusion, CW announced, later on, that a live-action reboot is currently "in development" on their platform. The series takes place 20 years after their lives as heroes in Townsville.
