My Hero Academia recently debuted its first art exhibit in Japan. This comes as that franchise marks its fifth anniversary in the industry.

Following its success, it is not surprising why such an event has emerged. But, aside from celebrating its five-year run, the event, also, showcases Kohei Horikoshi's artwork and other creative output.

Comic Book said that the creator has since obtained praises and compliments from several other big names in the world of anime. As it happened, Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto recently gave him some kind words and commendations.

The translation of Kishimoto's statement created a lot of buzz on various social media platforms. He said that the My Hero Academia creator's art is "simple," yet they all manifest his "excellent drawing skills, which always makes his art stand out."

He, also, noted that Horikoshi's style "is comprised of details [that are] so fine-tuned." Aside from calling him versatile and "top class," he emphasized, as well, how the creator's skills are way "beyond" what is usually deemed as skillful. In the end, Kishimoto revealed that he is "actually jealous."

The publication, later on, recalled that the Naruto head was joined by other franchise creators. These include Eiichiro Oda of One Piece, Yuki Tabata of Black Clover, Gege Akutami of Jujutsu Kaisen, and Bleach creator Kubo Tite.

Apart from congratulating the My Hero Academia franchise, the latter, also, penned a heartwarming message for Horikoshi. Tite said that he perfectly matched a "flashy style but, at the same time, also, expressing a delicate sense of realism within his work." He continued that this kind of work, "coupled with themes mentioned above, are what makes My Hero Academia so amazing."

Netizens, especially supporters, expressed their joy and happiness after learning what the Bleach creator had said. The translation, also, emerged on social media channels, causing more buzz around Kohei Horikoshi's works.

Meanwhile, the My Hero Academia creator has seemingly maintained his focus on his current and upcoming projects. Reports said that aside from working on the fifth season of the anime series, he is, also, gearing up for the third film of the franchise.

On Monday, fans and followers learned that the script for My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission has already been completed. As the production continues, though, officials have already revealed that it will arrive on August 6, in Japan.
