Weeks have passed since SEVENTEEN dropped their latest Japanese single. While it was a successful release, fans and followers across the globe are still waiting for the group's official return to the global music space.

Koreaboo said, though, the wait may end soon as sources claimed that the 13 K-Pop idols are now in the last stages of their comeback preparations. As reported, the all-male band will likely drop a new album this June.

The fandom quickly celebrated the good news. However, no direct and clear confirmation has been made since the emergence of the claims.

Even so, the group's label released an announcement regarding the matter. A spokesperson from Pledis Entertainment pointed out that while a comeback is set to happen, "the date has not been set" yet. Moreover, an official announcement will surface once they already finalize the schedule.

SEVENTEEN made their last full music release earlier in October. They dropped ;[Semicolon] eight months ago, with "HOME;RUN" serving as the lead track, according to Soompi.

The track collection, also, houses five more other songs. They carry the titles, "Do Re Mi," "Hey Buddy," "AH! LOVE," "Light a Flame," and "All My Love."

Six months later, SEVENTEEN made a music release again for their Japanese fans and supporters. The 13 K-Pop idols premiered "Not Alone" on April 21, 2021.

The track became the group's official Japanese comeback for the year, according to Bandwagon. It followed the band's 2020 mini-album, 24H, and single "Fallin' Flower."

The publication continued that the K-Pop group sees their latest Japanese track as a message about "strength and determination" following a challenging year. They intend, as well, to give their listeners "hope and inspiration to move forward towards their dreams" amid the trying times.

In addition to this, they, also, reportedly, take "Not Alone" as an "ode" to their fans, particularly those who are in Japan. This explains why the lyrics narrates, as well, their yearning to meet the fandom in person again.

Weeks prior to the release of their new Japanese single, SEVENTEEN engaged with their global fanbase via virtual concert titled, "IN-COMPLETE." It became their first online concert following the cancellation of their Ode To You world tour due to the pandemic crisis.

Reports believe that this has helped them start 2021 "with a bang," considering the overwhelming support and love from the fans and supporters. Accordingly, it will not, reportedly, become a surprise when SEVENTEEN receive another overwhelming set of support and adoration on their official comeback for this year.
