Soyu has kept her fans updated about her diet on YouTube. In her own channel, she has uploaded several videos, documenting the challenge she has followed these past few months.

In her own version of the "Fit to Fat to Fit" challenge, she tried to gain 10kg weight amid the pandemic. After reaching half of the goal, she focused on losing the excess weight she gained.

AllKpop released a report on the matter, stating that the K-Pop idol already completed her challenge. Based on the results, she appears to have succeeded in losing weight in the last two months.

On Tuesday, Soyu, reportedly, surprised her fans and followers on Instagram after posting photos of herself from a shoot for Cosmopolitan Korea's June issue. The image set features her "vast transformation" as she flaunts her slim figure.

The diet challenge she did concluded earlier this month. She posted a video about the results on YouTube.

In it, she revealed that she lost over 6 kg in six weeks. She went from 62.4 kg down to 56.4 by following her diet and workout routines.

For her interview on the cover shoot, she shared some advice to the individuals who want to follow her diet regime. She pointed out that they do not need to follow it on the dot as it is "more important to find a diet plan that fits [them.]"

Soyu continued that everyone's body and figure are "different." This is why the "results will vary even after exercising."

The former SISTAR member started her weight loss journey in March. She gave her fans and subscribers an in-depth view of the challenge was doing at that time.

While she felt "happy" after gaining weight, she decided to lose the excess ones for various reasons. Accordingly, she started to do a 2-month plan to continue the challenge.

As she moved forward to her weight loss journey, she kept her fans informed about her routines and regimens. She, also, shared several tips and pieces of advice for everyone who wants to go on a diet.

In one of her YouTube videos, Soyu emphasized the importance of having a "plan." She, also, highlighted the need to "stay healthy" even on a restricted meal program.

She encouraged consuming three meals a day. But, when eating outside these periods, she suggested focusing on "salads or proteins." As for her workout routines, she highlighted her love for Yoga. But, considering that she wanted to lose fat, Soyu said that she needed cardio exercises.
