Kate Middleton showed her love for kids when she visited the rural Lancashire with her husband, Prince William, on Thursday, Jan. 20. As many teased the couple for a baby No. 4, the Duchess of Cambridge believes the future king does not want a new child anymore.

The couple checked in on the health of Clitheroe Community Hospital staff as the COVID-19 pandemic started. Prince William and Kate met Trudi, Alastair Barrie, and their daughter, Anastasia, who the future consort held.

As they posed for a photo, onlookers started to poke fun at the duchess, People noted. This prompted the second in line to the throne to make a joke and say, "Don't give my wife any more ideas."

Prince William, then, told his wife not to take the kid with her when she handed the child back to her parents. Kate has been known for being fond of kids.

In a 2019 visit to Northern Ireland, the 40-year-old royal admitted she felt "broody" after meeting a five-month-old baby. The child's father asked if there would be baby No. 4, to which she said Prince William would be "a little worried."

In another visit to Bradford in 2020, a royal fan told Kate he had been sending her congratulatory cards after each of her three kids were born. From here, she confirmed that Prince William did not want kids anymore.

Kate and Prince William already have three kids, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. After giving birth to their youngest child, she has been open about her spouse's indecision regarding having more children.

Kate is also openly talking about the challenges of being a parent, per E! News. At an event with the Family Action charity in 2019, she said all parents were experiencing "the same struggle."

She continued that parents would usually get a lot of support with the baby years, particularly up to the first age. However, there were only little books to read about it after that.

Alternatively, Prince William gave everyone a glimpse of their family dynamic at home, including the children's fight. He revealed his kids had inherited the family's love of music and his two eldest kids had been fighting over it.

There would be a huge brawl between Prince George and Princess Charlotte most mornings as to what song they would play. So, he made a schedule to set who could play the music they wanted on a particular day.
