In an upcoming tell-all book, Meghan Markle's former husband, Trevor Engelson, may reveal a thing or two about his past romance with Prince Harry's wife. In fact, a royal expert claimed the film producer might have a "remarkable story" to tell.

Royal author Tom Bower's new biography will reportedly include interviews with Trevor Engelson. With that said, royal reporter Neil Sean claimed a lot of people could have "an axe to grind" to tell their side of a story.

On his YouTube channel, via The Sun, Sean claimed Bower told him many people were willing "to go on record and speak" without being paid. "We might point out as well," he cleared.

He assumed this turn of events must be terrifying for the Duchess of Sussex, considering they might have a selfish aim or motive. However, they might only want to get their side of the story told to the world.

Sean continued that Trevor Engelson might have a remarkable story to tell, knowing he had first-hand experience of being married to Meghan Markle for the first time.

For starters, the two used to be married from 2011 to 2013. At the time, Prince Harry's wife was still working as an actress, famously known for her role as Rachel in "Suits."

The 40-year-old started dating the producer and talent agent in 2004. After several years together, they decided to tie the knot at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios in 2011.

The former couple had a long-distance relationship that reportedly strained their romance, per The Mirror. Meghan Markle was filming in Toronto, while Trevor Engelson was based in California.

After a couple of years, the literary manager revealed his ex-wife did something that made him feel like "a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe." As her career started to take off, she opted for a divorce in 2013 and cited "irreconcilable differences."

In his book "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess," royal biographer Andrew Morton wrote that the royal family member sent her diamond engagement and wedding ring back to her estranged husband through a mail, Daily Record cited.

Trevor Engelson admitted the move surprised him and made him "barely contain his anger" because of the gesture. From there, he went from cherishing Meghan Markle to feeling like "a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe."

Meghan Markle's move also affected her former best friend and maid of honor at her first wedding Ninaki Priddy and she disassociated herself from her. She told Express that the way her former pal handled the situation hurt Trevor Engelson.
