Kim Sae Ron's blood test results are now out following her arrest for causing an accident while drunk driving during rush hour. According to reports, her blood alcohol level is enough to revoke her license.

On Tuesday, May 31, TV Chosun reported that the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul was notified by the National Institute of Forensic Sciences about the release of Kim Sae Ron's blood test result. As the alcohol level in her blood was high enough to revoke her license, the police started to conduct further investigations.

The 21-year-old was caught driving her SUV while being intoxicated in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 8 a.m. on May 18, AllKpop noted. She crashed her car into a street tree and electrical transformer box and reportedly escaped.

The accident caused a power outage in the surrounding area for four hours after the transformer broke. Citizens then reported the scene to police, who rushed to the site and caught the perpetrator 640 meters away from the accident location.

Kim Sae Ron refused to take a breathalyzer test and requested to be taken to a nearby hospital instead to have a blood test at the time of the arrest. After the accident, she wrote a handwritten apology letter for her actions and even pulled out from the filming of the new Netflix K-drama, "Hunting Dogs."

At the time, Manila Bulletin cited that the police claimed the actress was so drunk when they caught her and could not even speak properly. She is now facing drunk driving and damaging property charges.

Meanwhile, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star's agency, Gold Medalist Entertainment, released a statement to address the compensation for damages its talent caused, per Soompi. It said Kim Sae Ron would personally take responsibility for the damages caused by accident.

The price listed in news articles was said to be only an estimate they received from the Korea Electric Power Corporation after the accident. So, the actual amount was settled by the insurance company.

Gold Medalist also said it was compiling cases from others who experienced damages. It then apologized to everyone who had experienced harm and promised to do its best to give compensation for the harms done.

About 50 places, including four nearby buildings, a traffic light and a streetlamp, lost electricity after the accident. Surrounding businesses were also unable to operate as it took four hours to change the broken transformer.
