BLACKPINK has officially revealed their much-awaited comeback dates. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa drop a new teaser for their upcoming project, "BORN PINK," at midnight Monday, August 1.

The 31-second clip is bursting with black and pink colors as it reveals the months they will be doing their activities. Upon the video's release, fans quickly celebrate the news by making BLACKPINK a huge trend online.

The group has conquered the Twitter trends, varying from BLACKPINK is coming soon to BORN PINK to The Comeback and more. They even trend at number one worldwide.

In fact, as of this writing, they already have 1.57 million Tweets. The teaser, on the other hand, effortlessly surpassed more than 1 million views in less than an hour after its release, AllKpop noted.

It now has almost 6 million views and is continuously growing. "THE QUEEN is BACK!!" one fan commented. "They will SLAY HARD this time!!!! Mark my words."

According to the video, BLACKPINK's first activity is a pre-release single for August. After a month, they will drop their much-awaited album while holding their world tour in October.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa's last album release was in 2020 with "The Album," featuring the song "Lovesick Girls." But despite their two-year break, they were still named the "Greatest Girl Group of the Decade" by Billboard and Rolling Stone.

They were also honored for being the only Asian female group inducted into the Gold House A100 Hall of Fame. The recent announcement of their comeback also proved the huge impact of the quartet after taking control of almost all Twitter trends.

For starters, YG Entertainment announced, via MTV, BLACKPINK's return with new music in July. At the time, the record label revealed they were already in the "final stages of recording a new album."

In a press release, the "How You Like That" singers are said to be working on a "continuous large-scale project" that would extend through the year's second half. They, too, are set to hold their largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group by the end of the year to expand their bond and relationship with their fans worldwide.

BLACKPINK's upcoming world tour will be their second world tour since the "In Your Area World Tour" took place between 2018 and 2020.
