After announcing Brave Girls' disbandment, Minyoung assures fans will reunite in the future in a post on a fan site Thursday, February 16. The girls drop a new single, "Goodbye," before officially parting ways.

Brave Girls will end their seven years of activities as their contract with Brave Entertainment expires. But Minyoung hints that a reunion is in the cards.

The 32-year-old wrote that the girls would remain intact despite the disbandment announcement. The quartet is more than willing to be together.

Though their contract just expired, their relationship remains the same. She then acknowledges their fandom, Fearless' hard work amid the frustrations they have also gone through.

From there, Minyoung assured that Brave Girls would still reunite and that their disbandment would not be the end of them.

Hence, she promised they would continue to put some effort into "creating more happiness" for their followers in the future. The singer then asked their fans to support them continuously and never to be sad when listening to their song.

Meanwhile, Xports News broke the news, via Soompi, that Brave Girls would go on their separate ways after their contracts with Brave Entertainment expired. The company then released a statement on the group's official fan café, officially announcing their disbandment after releasing their new digital single, "Goodbye."

The agency revealed that the exclusive contracts of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna expired on February 16. Hence, the band would also officially end its activities after the "Goodbye" release.

Despite the disbandment, the members and the agency had a "beautiful farewell" following an in-depth discussion. They would never forget their support for each other, and the girls would continuously repay their fans' love through their own activities.

Brave Entertainment then expressed its gratitude to Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna, who worked passionately while "sharing the joys and sorrows" as Brave Girls for the past seven years. It also promised to cheer them continuously and their future activities. It also asked Fearless to love and support the four girls always.

For starters, Brave Girls debuted in 2011, but it was reorganized in 2016 with second-generation members. The group experienced a resurgence in 2012 when their 2017 song, "Rollin'," became and topped the charts.

However, Brave Entertainment reportedly found it hard to use the popularity Brave Girls gained after their seven years in the business, resulting in the firm's decision to halt their activities, which left fans disappointed officially.
