Fans now look forward to seeing Shanks and Kid's fight in "One Piece" Chapter 1077. But knowing Eiichiro Oda puts his focus from one storyline to another during the Egghead Island arc, the next installment may change its perspective again.
The previous chapter ended with Shanks and Kid finally facing each other. That said, there are high hopes that "One Piece" Chapter 1077 will pick up where Chapter 1076 left off.
Despite ending on Elbaf, the new chapter may return to Egghead Island to show the coming of 100 Marine ships to fight the Straw Hats. Several loose ends on the island must be wrapped up, like the traitor and Bonney's exploration of her father's memory.
Bonney may appear again in the next issue after disappearing in Chapter 1074. Fans may see more of Kuma's backstory if the new installment focuses on her return before the mangaka officially leaves Egghead and shifts his focus on Elbaf.
"One Piece" Chapter 1077 may also feature the search for the real Vegapunk and the possible introduction of another Seraphim. There are theories that there are three left, given that Seraphim is intended to replace the Shichibukai.
This may be why Nami screamed, which Zoro and Luffy heard while fighting with Lucci and Kaku. Her group may have encountered the new Seraphim, putting Nami in danger. There are also theories that the World Government and the new Seraphim may have kidnapped her.
In addition, the new chapter may focus on S-Snake attacking Lilith, Pythagoras, York, Franky, and Usopp. Boa Hancock's clone turns York into a shone with her Devil Fruit powers, also putting this group at risk.

CP5, CP7, and CP8 were trapped inside the lab for over two months without Vegapunk knowing. Vegapunk suspected there was a traitor when the scene shifted to Shank inside a bar in the New World when an enemy arrived and was later revealed as Kid.
Unfortunately, the manga is on a break this week, and "One Piece" Chapter 1077 will be out on Sunday, March 12.
