Amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's attacks against the Firm since they stepped down as senior royals in 2020, a royal expert claimed it just makes the royal family much more relatable. Everything the Sussexes have said reportedly backfired on them, causing Prince William and Kate Middleton to rise into the game.

Prince Harry made several allegations against the royal family in his memoir, "Spare." But instead of tarnishing the royal family's image, it just makes them more relatable. Camilla Tominey claimed the book, which sold 3.2 million copies worldwide in its first week, affected how the Britons see the Firm members, but it wasn't a devastating blow like what many might have expected.

In an article in The Telegraph, the journalist wrote that though the Sussexes' popularity dived in the U.K. since they had an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the public seemed to find the royals even more relatable. She also claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales even "took a bit of kicking" with stories about "hormonal disagreements and fight over dog bowls."

Tominey added that the unintentional consequence of Prince Harry's memoir was making his closest and most intimate family members get much of the attention. Just like how the late Queen Elizabeth II put it, like all the best families, everyone had their share of "eccentrics, impetuous, and disagreements."

Mercury News noted that Prince Harry pointed out how his older brother insulted his American wife and assaulted him in his Kensington Palace kitchen. His revelations might have given him an outpouring of global sympathy, seeing him as a hero after revealing the monstrous side of the future king.

He seemed to claim that Prince William was a "raging, out-of-control bully, and family abuser"-the opposite of what people expect from a future leader who must keep a "level head and treat others with respect." However, it looks like his revelation of the said attack left many with a different reaction.

Instead of getting sympathy or support, people seem sad, weary, annoyed, frustrated, puzzled and skeptical of his move. In fact, the #ShutUpHarry hashtag even trended on social media.

Surprisingly, these reactions don't just come from the usual royal supporters and Prince Harry and Meghan's critics from the U.K. media and the U.S. conservative circles. They also come from reports and social media posts that stem from major U.S. news sites, some of which even published positive news about them in the past, alluding that many may have changed their perspective on them.
