Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is reportedly planning to relaunch her lifestyle and wellness blog, The Tig, as per the Mirror. The 41-year-old has received preliminary approval to revive the website, which she initially started in 2014 and closed in 2017 after her engagement to Prince Harry.

The Tig, which offers advice on fashion, health, and wellness, is expected to rival Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop website, valued at around £200 million. According to the US Trademark and Patent Office, Meghan might also offer "commentary in the field of personal relationships" on the site.

The website's relaunch could happen as early as next week, marking another revenue stream for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they were cut off from royal funds. Meghan hopes to emulate the success of Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop, which offers a wide range of wellness products and luxury items.

Meghan started The Tig, named after her favorite red wine, while working on the legal drama Suits. The website covered topics such as food, wellness, fashion, travel, arts, design, and conscious living. In the recent Netflix series about the Sussexes, Meghan referred to the blog as a "really successful business" and not just a hobby.

The Tig was shut down in 2017 due to the "intense media scrutiny" Meghan faced during her relationship with Prince Harry. However, with its revival, the Duchess will once again have a platform to share her views on topics like feminism, philanthropy, and her passion for food, as well as makeup and beauty tips, travel advice, and interviews with her celebrity friends.
