Prince Harry is allegedly unsure whether he will fly to London's Heathrow Airport with his son Archie next week. The 39-year-old father of two is set to attend the 10th Invictus Games Anniversary Service on May 8.

However, friends stated Prince Harry is "unable to confirm" whether his family will accompany him, despite high hopes that four-year-old Archie will be old enough to travel without his mother, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.

"Harry desperately wants to bring Archie with him, but he won't do it without Meghan's approval. No one ever expected the duchess to come, but Harry was hoping she'll allow Archie to see his grandfather, considering the terrible circumstances with his health, an unnamed source told Woman’s Day Australia.

According to sources, King Charles has invited his youngest son and Meghan, 42, to visit him at his summer house of Balmoral, which he believes would be an ideal setting for the family to reconcile.

"Charles is hopeful Harry won't be alone and will finally bring his grandchildren to see him. Charles will never give up on a full reconciliation and will always have an open door for Harry, especially Archie and Lilibet. He's even offered to throw Archie a small party for his fifth birthday. He's desperate to get to know his two grandchildren,” the unidentified tipster told the entertainment news outlet.

King Charles, 75, last saw Archie in person in June 2022, when the Sussexes attended the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee festivities with Lilibet, who was one year old at the time. Since then, the royals have been dealt blow after blow, from the Queen's death to the recent health issues of the Princess Kate, Prince Harry's aunt Sarah, Duchess of York, and, most notably, King Charles.

"Harry knows how much it would mean for his dad to see Archie. He's so proud of his children, and now that Archie's personality is coming out more each day, he wants his dad to enjoy him too. He sees himself, his dad, his mum, even [his brother] William in Archie. He wants to share that with Charles before it's too late,” the undisclosed informant furthered.

Meghan has allegedly always been concerned about security when visiting the United Kingdom.

"Meghan gets all kinds of hate mail from the UK, and there are real concerns for her safety. So the very reason why she's not going is the same reason she's unlikely to let her only son be put in what she considers to be 'danger!’” the insider added.

The mole shared it's a shame, because Meghan is also disappointing Archie. Not only does he want to meet his grandfather, but he is equally as sports-crazy as his father and would love to travel to the Games with him; it is one of his birthday dreams. So Meghan isn't only allegedly battling Prince Harry over this.

Prince Harry, as per the spy, has clout. He allegedly changed his residency to reassure her that any travels to the UK would always be temporary. Also, the fact that Prince Harry missed most of Archie's last birthday due to the coronation has made him determined to attend.

However, friends believe UK fans may be disappointed if they hope to see young Archie. "No one expects to see Archie with Harry at LAX next week. Meghan's been planning a birthday party for him that appears to be going ahead regardless of 'daddy's work commitments,” the informant added.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry will not meet his brother Prince William when he returns to the UK next week, according to a royal pundit. The Duke of Sussex's relationship with the Prince of Wales has been strained for years, with the royal revealing details of their long-standing conflict in his memoir Spare.

According to sources close to Prince William, he and Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, felt "betrayed" by Prince Harry after he revealed their private troubles in public. The duo were last seen together at King Charles' Coronation in May, but they were seated separately, and the Duke left the UK immediately after to return to his family in California.

The news of Prince Harry returning to London to attend a commemoration service for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games fueled conjecture that the brothers could reunite after nearly a year. Royal experts. questioned whether the King Charles' recent cancer diagnosis, as well as Princess Kate's, may act as a trigger for Prince Harry and Prince William to bury the hatchet.

However, royal analyst Richard Eden downplayed the proposal, noting that a reconciliation between the two is unlikely to occur in a hurry. "Will he see Catherine? I think that's much more unlikely. And from everything I hear, William won't be meeting him. That's not a meeting that's going to happen again in a hurry," he told Daily Mail's Palace Confidential.
