Meghan Markle is inspired by her estranged sister-in-law, Princess Kate, in parenting her kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, a new report claimed.
An unnamed source told OK! Magazine that Meghan would love Archie and Lilibet to make a guest appearance on her forthcoming Netflix series since being a mother is a huge part of her life.
The wife of Prince Harry allegedly wants to show off that part of her to the world, just like how Princess Kate does occasionally when she takes Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to work events.
However, one major caveat of the plan involves Prince Harry, who unlike his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Princess Kate, wants to keep the Sussex kids out of the limelight.
"They're in a completely different situation and Archie and Lili are never going to be anonymous and 'normal' kids because of who their parents are, so Meghan is hoping Harry will get on board with her plans soon," the informant said.
Most, if not all, fans are aware that the imminent Netflix series is set to be part of Meghan and Prince Harry’s hit-and-miss $100 million dollar deal with the American streaming giant they inked in the fall of 2020, which is also set to expire next autumn.
"The first series is curated by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and celebrates the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” Netflix said in a statement. A number of analysts suggested that the program will tie into Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
"The second series offers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo, shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. The series will pull back the curtain on the sport, known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, capturing the full story of what it takes to compete at its highest level,” the streaming company added. The said project will reportedly focus on Prince Harry, who has played the sport since he was a teenager.
Both shows are claimed to be in the early stages of productions, with titles and release dates to be revealed “in the coming months.” One Hollywood spy told Daily Express that Meghan’s series will likely premiere on Netflix “around Thanksgiving or Christmas to take full advantage of bored viewers at home for the holidays.”
It can be recalled that Meghan and Prince Harry struck first with the hit six-part docuseries titled “Harry & Meghan” in December 2022, which saw them criticize the British monarchy and some members of the royal family. That same month, they released “Live To Lead,” which is about “global justice activists.”
Prince Harry’s “Heart of Invictus” docuseries in August 2023 allegedly sought to capitalize on the hype and success of “Harry & Meghan” but failed to even enter Netflix’s daily top 10 for show ratings.
