In the month following the debut of her lifestyle company American Riviera Orchard, Meghan Markle distributed jars of branded strawberry preserves to fifty of her friends. However, her friends did not seem to be impressed by the gesture, as they blogged about it on the internet.
One of the commenters on the website referred to the endeavor as "tacky," while another referred to it as "tastes of desperation." Several other commenters stated that they would not do it.
Nacho Figueras, a close confidant, disclosed in June that there was a second product in the range, which included raspberry jam and dog biscuits. The revelation was welcomed with a similar lack of enthusiasm from the audience.
It has been claimed that Meghan is currently exchanging glass food jars for wine bottles in the hopes of achieving greater success by introducing a rosé as the first product that is offered to the general public from American Riviera Orchard.
“There’s a lot of pressure on Meghan to find something profitable. She’s been casting a wide net, but some people think it just shows how desperate Meghan is. Her products are all over the place,” an unnamed source told Life & Style Magazine.
The same insider added that her and her husband Prince Harry's $20 million Spotify deal failed to materialize the previous year, that their $100 million contract with Netflix has not resulted in any additional major hits, and that the Archewell Foundation, which the couple established, has experienced a decline in contributions of $11 million after its first year of operation.
Despite the fact that Meghan, who is 42 years old, has a history of being an oenophile, her recent shift toward alcohol may appear to be a surprising development for someone whose primary causes in recent years have been advocating for women's rights, providing assistance to refugees, and bringing attention to the significance of mental well health.
Before she married Prince Harry, who is now 39 years old, in 2018, she maintained a blog called “The Tig,” which acquired its name from her favorite bottle of red wine, which is Tignanello, as per The New York Post.
“She knows the wine market is lucrative. It’s looking like a total cash grab,” the informant shared of Meghan’s most current project.
Jon Bon Jovi, Sarah Jessica Parker, John Legend, Cameron Diaz, Post Malone, Brad Pitt, and Snoop Dogg are some of the other celebrities that have already entered the rosé industry.
“Meghan is stepping on some toes. It’s pretty brazen that she’s moving in on her territory. Meghan doesn’t seem to care that she’s competing with a friend,” the tipster explained, noting that Meghan and Cam, who is 51 years old, are neighbors in Montecito, California.
Instead, Meghan is concentrating on bringing the bacon back to the house. “She and Harry aren’t steadily making the kind of money they need to continue their lavish lifestyle. Their future depends on her success. Meghan absolutely feels like it’s sink or swim time,” the mole shared.
