A royal expert suggested that Princess Kate’s cancer illness has caused her to reevaluate her life and prioritize what is actually important. In March, the Princess of Wales disclosed her cancer diagnosis, and by June, the 42-year-old, who is presently receiving preventive chemotherapy, confessed suffering both favorable and unfavorable periods.
Jennie Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent, suggested that the health concern prompted the Princess to contemplate her life's goals, The Mirror reported. She emphasized that her primary focus now lies on Prince William and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
"I'm sure cancer has made Catherine take a look at her life and her priorities. And I think those priorities are firmly with her family, her husband and her children," Jennie commented.
She additionally stated that Princess Kate likely lacks the ability to be preoccupied with past matters or anything pertaining to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently or in the future. Jennie observed that Princess Kate and Prince William, who are known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are regarded as "irrelevant" because they stepped down from their major royal positions in January 2020.
She characterized the Prince and Princess of Wales as a "cohesive and resilient entity,” particularly after 13 years of matrimony.
"As far as William and Catherine are concerned, Harry and Meghan are irrelevant to them, their family and to the future of their lives. But there hasn't really been any renewed drama coming from California since her cancer diagnosis, so I don't think there's been anything in particular for William to feel he has to shield Catherine from. William and Catherine are a tight and strong unit. I don't think they have anything more to fear from Harry and Meghan,” the royal expert told OK! Magazine.
These statements come after news that the Princess of Wales will be accompanying King Charles and other members of the Royal Family at Balmoral Castle for their yearly summer reunion. During a previous conversation with the entertainment news site, Jennie disclosed that the summer holidays will offer a necessary break for the royals following a year primarily focused on health issues.
"It's been one heck of a year for the Royal Family so far and nothing would please the King more than to have his close family gathered together in the peace of Balmoral for a time to take stock together, mark the passing of an incredibly difficult few months and look to the future," Jennie claimed.
