Angelina Jolie played Colin Farrell’s mom in 2004’s “Alexander,” but rumor had it that the actress’ feelings for the actor were more than maternal. The pair were said to have had a steamy fling at the time—she divorced Billy Bob Thornton in 2003 and split from model Kim Bordenave that same year.

Now, unnamed sources told Star Magazine that Angelina still has a crush on the onetime bad boy has cleaned up his act.

“They were a great match, but the timing wasn’t right, they both had a lot of growing to do. She’s very impressed with the work that he’s done on himelf and the man that he’s become,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.

Angelina was allegedly moved to see the Irish actor as a father, as per the informant. The dad of two recently opened up about his and Kim’s 20-year-old son, James, who was diagnosed at 2 with a rare neurological disorder that causes intellectual and developmental delays.

“Everything’s magnified when you have a child with special needs,” Colin said, adding that his son was his inspiration for “putting the bottle down” and getting sober.

“Angelina and Colin are both such loving parents, that’s something that’s important to her,” the undisclosed informant suggested.

Meanwhile, an Oscar-winning actor in his own right, Angelina's father, Jon Voight, who is 85 years old, recently came out about how the life of their children is being consumed by the drama surrounding Brad Pitt and his divorce, Hindustan Times reported.

In spite of the fact that he had a lot to say about it, the most important part of his counsel was summed up in a three-word proposal that he made to Brad: "Stop this nonsense." It would appear that Angelina’s father has had enough of everything. It is likely that he did everything in good faith, keeping their children in mind, despite the fact that his statements may appear to be somewhat direct.

Despite the fact that they were embroiled in a contentious legal struggle that lasted for over eight years and involved their French winery that cost $164, the divorced couple was recently confronted with a new piece of heartbreaking news within the family. Pax, their son, who was 21 years old at the time, was riding his electric bicycle in Los Angeles when he was involved in an accident without wearing a helmet.

It is possible that Jon was still thinking about the near-fatal accident that his grandson was involved in when he made the statement to Fox News Digital, "I wish they'd find a way to make peace." In spite of the fact that they are on opposing sides of the debates, Angelina's father and Brad have one thing in common: they do not spend as much time as they would like with their children.

Despite the fact that Angelina and Jon have been said to have had a contentious relationship over the years, it is not exactly the case that the father-daughter tandem is on speaking terms with each other.

“You know, I think the kids need some stability. I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know, what he has to do. End this nonsense,” the “Reagan” star stated.

Despite the fact that Brad and Angelina had tied the wedding in 2014, they ultimately decided to go their own ways in 2016 after Jolie accused Brad of being physically abusive. Since that time, their already complex divorce has only served to get even more messy, with more and more clauses for a growing divide being added to the discussion.

In addition to their dispute over the French estate Chateau Miraval, which appears to have no end in sight, the former couple is currently engaged in arguments on who will get custody of their children. As a result of the decision made by several children to remove their father's surname from their names, the ties have only become more severe.

Whatever the case may be, it appears that all of Angelina and Brad's issues can be traced back to the widely publicized event that occurred in 2016. According to the allegations, the "Moneyball" actor allegedly became angry with his then-wife and children as they were traveling on a private jet voyage.

"While Pitt's history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him," says an extract of a court filing by Angelina’s lawyers.
