During the promotion of "Wolfs" at the Venice Film Festival on September 1, Brad Pitt, who is 60 years old, and George Clooney, who is 63 years old, were seen acting ridiculously, much to the enjoyment of the audience.
The pair have been friends for many years, and they went on a double date with George's wife, Amal, who is a human rights attorney, and Brad's girlfriend of almost two years, Ines de Ramon, who is a jewelry executive. The date took place at a restaurant that they had hijacked earlier.
“They’ve been having a ball. When they get together, it’s always the same. It’s all fun," an unnamed source told Star Magazine.
It would be simple to forget about other aspects of the festival if there were not so much fun. In the midst of the couple's bitter and protracted divorce, as well as Brad's estrangement from their six children, Angelina Jolie, the actor's ex-wife, was receiving praise for her performance in the film "Maria."
“Brad was aware of Angelina being there. And of course he heard about her teary reaction to the standing ovation [after the Maria screening], but he didn’t let that interfere with his plans," the anonymous insider claimed.
Ines's debut on the red carpet was included as a component of those plans. She appeared to be more than a little bit like his best friend's attractive wife, who was wearing a slinky slip dress, while she was wearing a sophisticated white sheath dress, PEOPLE Magazine reported. She appeared to be comfortable on his arm.
“Brad has a good thing going with Ines. He was proud to show her off in Venice. He’s always looked up to George and what he has with Amal, and that’s inspired him in his own decisons regarding his personal life. He appreciates a relationship that’s free of drama," the undisclosed informant stated.
During a press conference held in Venice, George and Brad Pitt expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the film, "Wolfs," will only be shown in theaters for a week before it is made available online.
"It is a bummer," George said, acknowledging that streaming services provide actors more chances and larger audiences for their work. “We need it, our industry needs this."
"We'll always be romantic about the theatrical experience,” Brad added. "It's a delicate balance right now and it'll right itself."
