King Charles reportedly wants to see the reconciliation of his cherished sons, Princes William and Prince Harry, for his 75th birthday next month.

Amid continuing difficulties between his sons, which partly stem from Prince Harry's startling comments during his interview with Oprah Winfrey, the monarch has expressed a sincere desire for reconciliation, The Mirror reported.

According to a source close to the royal family, King Charles desires nothing more than for his family to be at peace again. He hopes that Prince William and Prince Harry can finally put their differences aside and become friends, and he thinks his birthday is the perfect occasion.

The Irish Star states that King Charles continues to be diligent in his duties as a monarch despite facing many challenges, such as the public disclosure of his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Even though he disclosed he had cancer earlier this year, King Charles has endured a great deal since becoming king. He has gallantly carried out his responsibilities despite his health problems. His greatest desire is to spend quality time with his family—his wife, sons, and grandchildren. This will be his most treasured possession, mainly as his milestone birthday draws near.

Much conjecture has surrounded Prince Harry's tense relationships with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. Harry bared all in his autobiography "Spare," in which he criticized several royal family members. He accused Queen Camilla of feeding newspaper accounts about him and singled her out.

Still, it appears like King Charles is more open to making amends after engaging in some introspection. "Since inheriting the crown, he has spent more time exploring theologies and the teaching of their central tenets including the nature of forgiveness," according to a source.

According to the source who spoke with The Daily Mail, King Charles has been more open to making amends with Harry, who has been living in California with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for the past four years, after receiving "spiritual nourishment" from conversations with clergy.

“Faith has always been a part of Charles's life and something he's explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role...that reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King,” the source claimed.

The insider added that restoring harmony within his family is King Charles's priority. He hopes that the animosity between Prince William and Prince Harry can finally be put to rest. Even though he disclosed he had cancer earlier this year, King Charles has been courageous in carrying out his responsibilities as monarch despite the many hardships he has endured since becoming king.

His greatest desire is to spend time with his children and grandchildren and create lasting memories. This will be his most treasured possession, mainly as his milestone birthday draws near.
