Prince Harry and Meghan Markle need "success" to break out of their present popularity phase, a royal expert claimed.
Following their departure from the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan’s multi-million dollar partnership with Spotify was terminated. Since then, their docuseries from 2022 was the only hit they had with Netflix. Prince Harry has traveled the globe solo for a series of engagements recently, putting his charity causes front and center.
Meghan, whose fans are still waiting impatiently for the complete launch of her lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard, made an unusual red carpet appearance at a children's hospital fundraiser in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Royal editor Matt Wilkinson of The Sun says the Sussexes need a "win" of some sort. Prince Harry and Meghan do necessitate success; he informed the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered YouTube channel. They'll have a seat and celebrate the royal tours of Nigeria and Colombia.
Next year, Prince Harry and Meghan still have Invictus to face. Matt claimed they may need a victory, but he wouldn't call it a flop era. Prince Harry will discuss the successful court cases he has filed against UK media. Once you phrase it that way and give it some thought, maybe they're going through a flop phase, he said.
Many have speculated that Prince Harry is returning to his old royal ways as a result of his recent solo appearances—at the UK's WellChild Awards and in Southern Africa for his charity Sentebale.
Some have noticed that Prince Harry seems more confident when alone compared to his recent public appearances in the US with Meghan. Jennie Bond, a royal correspondent for the BBC, thinks the prince is familiar with the subject.
"It's natural to feel more at ease in a familiar setting, and Harry has been leading the charge for the WellChild awards for about 16 years,” she told OK! Magazine. Compared to the still-alien setting of “La La Land,” Prince Harry seems more at ease in that setting.
Continuing her thought process, Jennie said that being in an area Prince Harry is more familiar with is more important than whether he is acting like a star or a prince.
"I don't think it's got anything to do with being royal or not royal. It's simply a question of an environment you are more used to. Maybe we should stop analyzing every gesture and every tie stroke and just appreciate that he is a man trying to use his position to do some good in the world,” she added.
