Sean "Diddy" Combs utilized Instagram to extend his birthday greetings to his daughter from behind bars.
"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday, baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you," Diddy penned on Tuesday, October 15.
In December 2022, Combs welcomed his seventh child. Although her birth certificate indicated that her mother was Dana Tran, limited information is available about her, and he has never publicly acknowledged that he had a relationship with her.
In addition to Love, who recently celebrated her second birthday, the music producer is the father of Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, and Christian "King" Combs, 26, as well as daughters Chance Combs, 18, and 17-year-old twins Jessie and D'Lila Combs, who are shared with other partners.
The rapper's social media update was posted approximately one month after he was apprehended by law enforcement in connection with a federal human trafficking investigation. He was arrested on September 16 and subsequently charged with extortion conspiracy, s-- trafficking by force, and interstate transportation for prostitution later that week, ABC News reported.
Combs' attorneys sought in-home detention on a $50 million bond; however, they were denied by two separate judges because he is purportedly a "danger" and a flight risk.
Numerous lawsuits have been filed against Combs since his arrest, alleging that he sexually assaulted both men and women.
In one court filing, Combs was accused of orally sexually assaulting a man in a stockroom at Macy's department store and subsequently threatening to murder him, as per USA Today. In 2006, an additional individual accused the artist of drugging and sodomizing him in a van outside of one of his White Parties.
This month, a woman filed a lawsuit against Combs for allegedly sexually assaulting her and a companion in 2004 after he invited her to an "exclusive party" in his Manhattan hotel room, The New York Post reported. The rapper was also purportedly accused of threatening to "have them both killed" in the legal filing.
Combs' legal team promptly refuted the allegations made in the numerous lawsuits.
They stated on October 14, "Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone - adult or minor, man or woman."
His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
