Wendy Williams made a rare appearance in public to attend the graduation ceremony of her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., who had graduated from college.

On Thursday, the former talk show host, who is now sixty years old and whose team stated in February that she has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, was spotted attending the graduation ceremony for the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University.

According to Page Six, Wendy was able to attend and depart the Miami venue where the ceremony was conducted by transporting herself on a red mobility scooter.

Even though it seemed as though she was having trouble moving around, the media celebrity arrived up looking absolutely stunning. She looked absolutely stunning in a floor-length gown in a shimmering dark blue color, which she complimented with Chanel shoes in black and white.

Wendy wore a strong red lip and accessorized with a crossbody purse from Louis Vuitton that was brown in color. Caramel highlights were accentuated in her hair, and she wore it down and straight with blunt-cut bangs.

As soon as she entered, the elated mother was seen beaming and clapping for her one and only kid. With her mouth agape, Wendy placed her hands together under her chin and watched with an overwhelming sense of delight before wiping away tears. Hunter Jr., who was 24 years old, was the one who walked the stage.

Additional members of Wendy's family were also there, including Wendy's father, Thomas Williams Sr., who was 93 years old at the time. He was brought into the ceremony by his other daughter, Wanda Finnie, who pushed him in a wheelchair.

It was said that the delighted graduate, whom Wendy shares with her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter Sr., strolled through the door of the students' building and stopped to shake the hand of a law enforcement officer.

According to the commencement booklet that The US Sun was able to get, Hunter Jr. was found to have earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

The fact that Hunter Jr. was taking care of his sick mother caused him to take longer than the customary four years to graduate from college. Hunter Jr. started his undergraduate career at Barry University before moving to Florida International University.

Sabrina Morrissey, Wendy's legal guardian, stated just one month ago that she had "become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated." This was in reference to Wendy's condition.

In addition to suffering from Graves' disease, lymphedema, and alcoholism, the former shock jock is also experiencing a difficult financial situation.

Wendy appeared to be in a good mood when she was seen picking up food in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend, despite the fact that her health was deteriorating.
