The Duke of Sussex, Harry, and Meghan Markle provided assistance to those who were impacted by the wildfires that occurred in Los Angeles on Friday outside of the Pasadena Convention Center. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in Montecito-which is located approximately 90 miles to the north-provided the victims of the fire with food and goods.

In the course of their meeting with Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, gratitude was extended to first responders, which included law enforcement and firefighters from Los Angeles County.

According to People, the pair conveyed their appreciation to José Andrés, the person responsible for the creation of World Central Kitchen, at several stations where food is distributed.

"It's great people, great personalities and great heart for them to come out here and meet with the first responders, meet with the people who were affected," Gordo told the news station of his meeting with the royals. "It's very important." The presence of Prince Harry, who is forty years old, and Meghan, who is forty-three years old and the Duchess of Sussex, boosted the morale of the first responders, according to him.

Gordo reported that "people were very happy to see them" at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. He added that the two had traveled to Pasadena and Altadena to visit families affected by the fire, demonstrating their genuine desire to provide assistance. He went on to say that they place a high value on their friends and neighbors.

Gordo stated that earlier that day, the duchess and the prince had gone to World Central Kitchen "anonymously," serving meals while wearing masks and baseball caps. Meghan wore a blue Los Angeles Dodgers cap, and Prince Harry donned a black "Cali" hat from a local brand.

As Gordo made it abundantly apparent, they were not there to garner attention; rather, they were there to assist and show their gratitude to those who responded to the emergency.

According to Page Six, the couple made their Montecito house available to friends and family members who were forced to abandon their homes as a result of the calamity. This sighting is a direct result of their kindness. With the help of their Archewell Foundation, they are actively looking for crisis support for the community.

The flames have tragically caused the destruction of tens of thousands of homes, schools, and medical facilities during the course of the fire. Additionally, Prince Harry and Meghan have voiced their concerns about this matter. They have urged people to open their homes to the poor and watch out for their vulnerable neighbors.
