In order to assist those who have been affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles, which have continued to blaze throughout the weekend, Jennifer Lopez has decided to cancel her scheduled appearances.
"It's important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time," an insider told People.
According to Page Six, over the course of the following week, Lopez was scheduled to make appearances on "The View," "Live with Kelly and Mark," and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" in order to promote her newest film, "Unstoppable." The fire that started earlier in the week led to the cancellation of the Los Angeles film premiere.
"As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority," a source from Amazon MGM Studios told People. "Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe."
The actress from "Maid in Manhattan" posted a statement on her Instagram Stories on Friday, along with links to assistance that are available to individuals who have been impacted by the fires that have ravaged the wealthy Pacific Palisades district in Los Angeles as well as Altadena, which is located in the East Los Angeles neighborhood.
"My heart is with everyone affected by the L.A. fires. At times like these, our strength lies in supporting one another," she penned as reported by the Daily Mail.
She provided anyone who was in need of shelters with information regarding resources for mental health, animal care, and shelter locations.
As reported by Page Six, Affleck and Lopez have been in "regular contact" ever since the flames broke out and since Lopez finalized her divorce from Affleck.
Affleck had to leave his $20.5 million brand-new mansion in the Pacific Palisades on January 7th.
Photographers captured him driving to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's Brentwood area residence. There, their children Violet, who is 18 years old, Seraphina, who is 15 years old, and Samuel, who is 12 years old, also dwell.
Lopez "has been checking in on Ben throughout this whole ordeal" and "let him know she's there for him and the kids," an informant told Page Six.
Wednesday marked Affleck's return to his residence, despite the fact that the evacuation orders are still in effect. While this is going on, Garner has been observed volunteering and distributing food to people who are in need.
A neighborhood in Beverly Hills that has not yet been impacted by the fires is where Lopez and Affleck's marital home, which is valued at sixty million dollars, is located.
"Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation, and it's beyond tragic. ... Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help," a source said.
Among the celebrities who have lost their houses as a result of the terrible fire are Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, as well as Eugene Levy, Miles Teller, and Paris Hilton.
