Ben Affleck and his daughter Violet shared a thoughtful moment after the Palisades Fire forced him to flee his Los Angeles home.

During the wildfires that were still raging over the city on Saturday, the father of three was captured on camera giving the 19-year-old a warm embrace outside of his residence that was valued at twenty million dollars.

Ben gave off the impression of being upset as he comforted Violet by holding her tight and closing his eyes during the tender embrace.

The star of "Gone Girl," who is the father of three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, was seen carrying himself in a relaxed manner while wearing a gray hooded jacket and trousers, per Mirror via MSN.

Violet was wearing dark blue trousers and a black sweatshirt during all of this.

By covering her mouth and nose with a white N-95 mask, the first-year student at the university provided additional protection from the smoke and ash that was present in the air.

During the visit with his daughter, who will most likely be returning to Yale University for the spring semester, Ben, who is 52 years old, flashed a smile at one point.

The picture did not include Seraphina, who is 16 years old, and Samuel, who is 12 years old.

On Wednesday, the Oscar winner made his way back to his house in Pacific Palisades, where he expressed his relief that his residence had been spared from the devastating fires.

"Ben's home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being," a source told Page Six on Thursday.

According to the insider, Ben is acquainted with a large number of people who have lost their homes as a result of the flames.

To say that he has witnessed a tremendous deal of destruction would be an understatement. They added that Ben is reaching out to anybody he can in order to receive assistance.

In the midst of the disaster, Ben has been in "regular contact" with Jennifer Lopez. According to another source, Lopez has been "worried and concerned" about her ex-husband and that she has "been checking in on Ben throughout this whole ordeal."

As the flames continue to consume thousands of homes in the neighborhood, the actress from "Hustlers," who is 55 years old, has "offered her support" to Ben and his children.
