'Scent of a Woman' (1992)
Al Pacino played as Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade in this 1992 movie, "Scent of a Woman." Playing as a blind army veteran, the South China Morning Post reported that the actor won himself an Oscar for this movie.
Slade was only planning to make his last blowout in New York City before committing suicide. 'The Ice Storm' (1997)
There was no other Asian director that successfully managed to enter the Hollywood and create a masterpiece like Ang Lee. "The Ice Storm" featured the middle-class New England family celebrating the Thanksgiving weekend in 1973.
