Verizon is joining other companies to celebrate the big Black Friday events across the United States with its massive discounts on upgraded smartphones by Apple, Samsung, Google, and LG. This is indeed just in time for those that are planning to get an upgrade for their phones this holiday season without so much spending money on gadgets.
A whopping $400 discount is being offered for flagship smartphones, and according to CNet, there is no requirement to trade in your old phone, which is a very nice deal. This is, of course, exclusive to those that already have Verizon as their network carrier.
The smartphones that are part of this promo includes Google's Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Samsung's Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy Note 9, LG V40, and Apple's iPhone X. Verizon also offers the new Palm device, which is an accessory that connects to a phone with a $100 discount of its regular price when its added to another line.
The promo begins today, Thursday, November 22 with the flagships being sold with the $400 discount online until Friday midnight, November 23 in-store. For those that won't be able to avail of this great deal, there is still a $200 discount on these flagships on Saturday and Sunday except Apple's iPhone X. This is still part of the standard 24-month contract with Verizon.
The telecom company also has great deals - discounts and bonuses for all its new Fios customers who are subscribed to the company's television, telephone, and internet service. Apart from Verizon's Black Friday deals, other companies and retailers, including Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and Target also offer amazing deals this week.
Walmart offers discounts on Google Home Mini, Nintendo Switch bundles, and a lot more while Amazon offers discounts on Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV, Roku, Fire Tablets, Recast DVR, Fire TV Cube, Blink Cameras and more. As for Best Buy, it also provides huge deals on iPhone XR, Apple HomePod, Roku TV, Google Home and more.
Target competes with other retailers' Black Friday deals offering discounts on Xbox One X 1TB, Xbox One S bundle, 4K Vizio TV, and many more. The retailer's deals started early on November 18. Gamespot also offers great deals on PS4 and Xbox bundles alongside cheaper prices for some specific titles. Other retailers like Newegg, Kohl's, Staples, and Office Depot also offer Black Friday deals starting November 19.
