Samsung Galaxy S10 details remain under the wraps, but there have been a lot of rumors surrounding the tech giant's next flagship smartphone, including its top-of-the-line graphics and its high-end camera. But people are more curious as to what its selfie camera would look like, and a recent leak might be the answer to that question.
According to MSPowerUser, the front-facing camera of the Samsung Galaxy S10 might mirror the upcoming Galaxy A8s' selfie camera although it's going to be smaller. On Twitter, Samsung Mobile News shared a photo of the A8s' front camera cut-out, which is 6.77mm of which it said that it would be the same technology as the upcoming S10 camera.
"The cutout of Galaxy A8s front camera is 6.7mm big," SMN wrote on Twitter with a sample image. "The cutout on Galaxy S10 will be 2-3 mm smaller but still bigger than 3mm." The sample shows a small hole on top of the screen near the corner of the display, which is an example of Samsung's Infinity O screen technology.
MSPowerUser suggested that although a smaller punch-out hole is better than a bigger one, people might find it tricky to house user interface apps, and may not look good when watching videos. The next flagship phone of the South Korean tech giant though will reportedly have a larger screen, and a leaked screen protector even suggests that the handset may have almost no bezels and no notch.
Thus, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is going to be larger than the S9 Plus - something that accommodates the iris scanner. It will reportedly come with three different screen sizes with around 19:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 3040 resolution.
Samsung mobile business chief, DJ Koh previously said that the handset will be packed with several "very significant" design changes and will come with "amazing" colors. Rumors have it that the shades could be blue, grey, black, red, yellow, and green although the tech giant somewhat hinted previously that the flagship phone will come in pink, black, blue, silver, and green colors.
Another rumor also suggested that the price of Samsung Galaxy S10 might be between $650 and $750, but since it will come in three different sizes, the price might just go up as soon as it hits the market. Samsung is still tight-lipped as to when the phone will be launched, but rumors say that it might be released sometime in January or February 2019, in time for CES 2019 or MWC 2019.
