Samsung is set to launch its biggest flagship smartphone yet in early 2019 - the Galaxy S10 range, which will come in three different models with the high-end S10 Plus dubbed as Beyond X. In recent years, the tech giant continues to develop flagship handsets, although all of them only carried few upgrades from its forerunners - something that didn't quite excite users. But that will change in the next 3 months.
As previously reported, Samsung will use a topnotch technology known as Infinity-O screen display on its flagship smartphones, which is already in mass production, according to some reports from South Korea. That said, many people are thrilled with what the company has in store for everyone, especially that it's going to be the best handset yet for the tech heavyweight.
A few days ago on Twitter, prolific leaker known as Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) posted another photo of the Galaxy S10 screen protector, which suggested that the set of handsets will be packed with an almost bezel-less display. Ice Universe captioned the photo with "Beyond," which is the codename of the flagship phone.
According to BGR, after "phoning" Samsung's flagship smartphone predecessors, the company's handset sales have relatively declined, but the company is set to ditch its unchanged designs in just a few months from now. Apparently, the screen protector of the Galaxy S10 shows that instead of cutting out a big notch on top of the screen display, the tech giant decided to dig a tiny hole just right at the corner of the screen for the selfie camera.
The front-facing camera design is different from its previous design as well as other tech giants such as Apple and Huawei of which the selfie camera gets a big notch from the display. Another incredible change from the previous Samsung smartphones is the little to no bezel at the top and bottom of the handset.
Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 are practically the same with large bezels on the display, but the Galaxy S10 portfolio has finally ditched that outdated design, and has moved on to bezel-less design. The company has yet to reveal any other details of its upcoming handset, but people are already looking forward to a top-of-the-line device in early 2019 despite a recent report that there is a potential cancellation of the flagship handset.
Forbes recently reported that the flagship smartphone or the Galaxy S10 Plus was missing during a certification in China and Russia - something that alarmed many users. However, this report is yet to be confirmed.
