Faster home internet and longer battery life on a phone are now possible. In the latest news, the Korean tech company Samsung is set to launch a new model of smartphones.

Samsung will launch Galaxy S10 on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at MWC 2019. This model is said to support next-generation Wi-Fi amid a broader expansion of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) availability this year, Engadget reported.

Samsung will launch three versions of Galaxy 10, including an S10+ and cheaper S10E-which should be compatible with the standard, according to Droid Life. With that, S10 lineup is the first batch of smartphones that offer Wi-Fi 6.

What to expect

Samsung Galaxy S10 will likely arrive with Qualcomm's WiFi 6-ready Snapdragon 855 chip. Not all people have  WiFi 6 router, and not many of us do as yet, hopefully, the S10s should provide a degree of future proofing for when you do upgrade your home internet hardware.

The expectation for Wi-fi 6 is higher. Most people are expecting this next-generation Wi-Fi can provide sturdier, faster internet, especially if you have a ton of connected devices in your home while having less of a strain on your gizmos' batteries.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Leaks

This week, a few leaks reveal that Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ will have a smaller hole-punch camera. There are images that supported this news-most leaked images came from WinFuture and 91mobiles, and both publications published press images of both phones, and it seems like Samsung wants to hide the camera hole.

There are three color options to choose from and both Galaxy S10 and S10+ sport will come in  "The Midnight Black edition." Both models have no color gradient and sport a simple appeal. Apart from "Midnight Black," you can choose "Emerald Green Edition" - it has an aqua-like that is brighter on the top, but the bottom part becomes darker. Meanwhile, "The Prism White Edition" has a combination of blue and purple hues with a white undertone. Samsung S10 and S10+ phones have a Blue variant, however, it may not be released soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ feature 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch Infinity-O AMOLED displays. Both packed with the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform and have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage. Both devices have pre-installed Android 9 Pie OS.
