OnePlus 7 is expected to arrive this year. Although its maker OnePlus is not giving confirmed most details about the new smartphone, there are tons of leaks are appearing online.
As of now, what most people know about OnePlus 7 is it supports 5G connectivity (according to the latest leaks). This news has been confirmed by its maker. Apart from having 5G support, this flagship is expected to have an improved camera module.
The previous leaks of OnePlus 7 also show that OP7 eliminates the notch and bezels. It is expected to arrive with faster Snapdragon 855 processor.
There are rumors suggesting that OnePlus 7 has no notch and use a slider front-camera design. However, the upcoming smartphone is going to feature pop-up selfie camera-a feature that brings highest screen-to-body ratio.
If you are a Netflix subscriber, maybe you will consider getting OnePlus 7 as this smartphone will be getting Netflix's HDR support. Some publications claimed that Warp Charge 30 could become a standard feature on 2019 OnePlus smartphones, including OP 7. Apart from that, its maker may use Sony's IMX586 sensor, in order to pave way for up to 48-megapixel resolution.
Just recently, an Indian tipster named @ishanagarwal24 shared an image of alleged OnePlus 7. The image shows that the flagship might feature a circular-shaped camera module at the back just like the Nokia Lumia 1020. Apart from this image, no specific details have been added on whether this is the OnePlus 7 or a prototype.
OnePlus is seeking feedback from users about HDR streaming. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei posted a thread on OnePlus Community Forum. Pei mentioned about an app stub for HDR streaming support. In the same thread, Carl asked the users if they want to be "open to us preloading a popular app stub (an icon that leads to Play Store) for the purposes of supporting HDR streaming?" In the same thread, A OnePlus executive in commented, "HDR streaming requires support both from hardware side and content providers side. Here we are talking about whether our future smartphone should support HDR streaming in this popular app."
OnePlus 7 is not the only upcoming smartphone that gets a lot of rumors and leaks. As a matter of fact, the Korean tech company Samsung, who will launch its Galaxy S10 on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at MWC 2019, have gotten a lot of leaks and rumors (especially its Galaxy S10 and S10Plus).
In a recent report, Samsung Galaxy S10 will support next-generation Wi-Fi amid a broader expansion of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) availability this year, Engadget reported. Its maker, Samsung, will launch three versions of Galaxy 10, including an S10+ and cheaper S10E. All of them should be compatible with the standard, according to Droid Life. With that, S10 lineup is the first batch of smartphones that offer Wi-Fi 6.
