The latest OnePlus 7 image leak proves that it will skip the front camera notch and the hole punch.
An image leak that surfaced online shows how the awaited OnePlus 7 will be skipping the front notch design. The latest OnePlus photo render shows a full-screen display. There are no traces of any notch or even a hole punch on any side of the display adding up to the previous speculations about the device skipping the display features that its predecessors had.
The screen covered almost the entire part of the front display leaving a very small space for the super thin bezels. The alleged OnePlus 7 leaked image was shown in a landscape position. The left bezel which now appears to be the bottom part because of the orientation is noticeably thicker than all the three other sides.
With the absence of a notch and a hole punch on the latest OnePlus 7 image leak, rumors are getting stronger that the next awaited flagship phone will be a slider one. However, since the leaked image shows only one angle of the device, it is still speculation for the next OnePlus release to use the slider mechanism.
The slider mechanism is a similar feature that OPPO Find X uses in order to give space to the camera and other features. It is a motorized case section on the top edge of a full screen or bezel-less phone. The case quickly pops up and slides back at users prompt, making the screen space more useful and attractive instead of always having the features in the way of the display even when not in use.
The latest OnePlus 7 leaked image also spark up speculation that the device will support the homescreens in Oxygen OS. The assumption was because of the system tray icon as well as the notifications bar unusually placed towards the bottom chin instead of the top space.

Without any view of neither the rear or the side view, users are guessing that the OnePlus 7 power button could be on the left side. The volume rocker, as well as the slider alert, could also be beside the power button.
The OnePlus 7 leaked image was posted on Twitter last week but began calling the public attention just this week. Earning 370 likes with 150 people commenting as of the moment, the leaked image still remains another tidbit of preview until it officially launches at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 25.
