Huawei X 5G is currently one of the most hyped phone this 2019. The phone was officially revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain recently and it confirmed some of the early leaks about the folding phone with the 5G feature.

The press conference further stamped Huawei 5G's edge against the Samsung Galaxy Fold in the execution of the folding phone feature, according to an article published in Pocket-lint. The press conference revealed some important details like the release date, price, and more.

The Huawei 5G is expected to be released to the public "due middle of 2019", according to all Huawei officials and it is still pending on network deployment status of operations. It also costs €2,299 or $2,609.

What about the storage size of Huawei 5G? The press conference revealed that the phone will have 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.

In terms of design, Huawei Mate X can be folded into a tablet form with such ease. It also has a 2-in-1 power key and fingerprint scanner.

The Huawei Mate X is measured at 11mm thick and 5.4mm when unfolded. It is noticeably slimmer than Samsung Galaxy's Galaxy Fold and this is an important feature to take note since it will indicate if the phone can fit enough in the people's pocket.

Once folded, users might notice a little "lip" in the Huawei Mate X. This is where the cameras are housed to make the holding looks easy.

The Huawei Mate X has an OLED panel. However, there is still no in-screen fingerprint scanner to be found in the phone.

Instead, the Huawei Mate X has a side positioned power button that doubles-up as the scanner for rapid login. There are also no cameras found on the front to make up for the minimal screen bezel.

With the lack of cameras, that means that were be no facial recognition for login with the Huawei Mate X. This is different from other Huawei phones that have facial recognition for a more convenient way of checking your phone.

Just like the previous phones, the Huawei Mate X is continuing its partnership with Leica in having a good camera setup. The phone might deploy a triple camera solution like the Mate 20 Pro.

With this information the public know so far about the Huawei Mate X, some people think that the phone might be an interesting folding phone in years. In an article published by Cnet, this folding phone feature might actually shed the current controversy that phone has right now.
