Friends will always be friends. This is especially true to the cast of the hit sitcom Friends where the cast continues to stay close despite being busy with their respective lives. Earlier this February 2019, it has been learned that Matthew Perry has admitted to being driven out of therapy.

Although the actor who played Chandler Bing in the 90s television program cleared things up that the lapse is only for one session, his former co-stars on the said show have been very concerned. Perry is back on therapy but the mill of the story continues to roll.

Persistent reports have revealed that Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc have hooked up together in order to lend support for Perry. The cast mates want their co-star to sustain his treatment.

In an interview back in 2013, the Fools Rush In leading man has admitted that he hid his addiction from the cast of Friends for years. Masking his situation at that time proved futile as people eventually found out about his struggle.

The recent news that Perry is being committed to rehab by his TV co-stars has turned out to be false. It is not true that he is being sent for another round of treatment. The story that the cast is pitching in enough money to help Perry with his therapy expenses is erroneous.

Even the actor's representative has been quick to point out that there is no such occurrence. Considering that Perry has a net worth of $80 million, it is safe to say that he is more than capable of paying for his rehabilitation program.

Some bogus narratives have been connected to Perry's alleged addiction problems. In September last year, Jennifer Aniston has allegedly sought the help of Brad Pitt to lend assistance to the Almost Heroes star. In another report, it has been stated that the Friends cast intervened for Perry.

Matthew Perry's addiction had initially surfaced in 1997. After a life-threatening ski accident, the actor has been subjected to painkillers which resulted in drug abuse. Although he went into rehab that same year, his therapy has gone haywire. He re-entered rehabilitation in 2001 but continues to struggle to stay sober ever since.

Amid all the developments regarding Perry's addiction issues, only one thing is certain. RadarOnline had twisted the actor's words on Twitter when he said that he stopped doing therapy. The tabloid's claims have been shot down. There is no truth to the cast of Friends sending their former castmate into rehab.
