The long wait for Apple's AirPods 2 will finally come to an end very soon as a new leak proves that the second generation of Apple's wireless headphones will soon be released.
In the days past, news has been surfacing over the internet that there will be an Apple keynote on March 25. The rumors did not just come from one news outfit but were consecutively reported all giving the same hint on the keynote as well as Apple's AirPods 2 alleged release. Sources on the mentioned leaks, however, refused to reveal their identity knowing that they are not the authorized people to release such a confidential matter from the tech giant.
The latest update which was released on March 1 and was updated on March 3 carries a stronger weight of evidence that Apple's AirPods 2 will soon be launched. Another anonymous leaker who has knowledge of the internal operations in the Asia-Pacific market released a screenshot of what seems to be an announcement from a supplier.
The screenshot bears the name Apple AirPods on the left side together with the set of numbers and letters, VPN: MMEF2ZA/A SKU: 3510621 which apparently look like a stock code. On the right side, the statement is written Out of Stock followed by (Lead Time/ETA*:28/03/2019).
The above screenshot according to the leaker is a part of the logistics and product stock management software indicating the current status of the item and the last day of its life cycle. The announcement clearly said that the original AirPods will no longer be sold on March 28 onwards.
With the original Apple's AirPods ending its shelf life on March 28, rumors then quickly spread that new products and models will be placed on the shelves beginning March 29 to replace the items that will no longer be sold. If the original AirPods will halt production then, Apple followers are guessing that March 29 could finally be the date for the AirPods 2 release.
Previous reports have revealed that Apple's AirPods 2 will now come in two colors, black and white. Sources also revealed that the next generation of Apple's wireless headphones will have a stronger grip compared to the original AirPods. Probably one of the most awaited features on Apple's awaited release is the arrival of the Oye Siri which will be made accessible wireless. Followers are guessing that Siri could be one main reason why new sensors will be found on AirPods 2.
