BBC will sustain its chilling television presentation as Killing Eve Season 2 brings another round of chilling episodes. Jodie Comer's Villanelle will get an extra crack at ending the life of Sandra Oh's lead character. The upcoming installment will feature another face-off that will definitely go down the wire.

To get the adrenaline flow going, it is perhaps essential to review what happened during the penultimate segment of the show in Season One. The fight goes toe-to-toe as Eve and Villanelle slug it out. It has come down to a final sequence where Polastri managed to plunge a blade into her long-time rival. The only question left is will Comer's character survive to join Killing Eve Season 2.

As for Sandra Oh, such performance deserves to snare an award at some point. The occasion turns out to be the Golden Globes where she bagged the Best Actress in a Television Drama Series. It has been a spectacular night considering that she also co-hosted the ceremony with Andy Samberg.

After a dismal attempt to end the first season, it is likely that a stronger and a rejuvenated foe will be back to haunt down Eve. It is not surprising if the theme will venture on vengeance. While both portray the killer instinct that this flick is known for, it will be quite interesting if the two will set aside their differences and join forces to pursue a mission. Whatever the plot is, the intensity will only be heightened.

The intensity with a considerable magnitude will only be in place if the program brings in an added fierceness. A couple of new faces will make this happen. Hard working actors Nina Sosanya and Edward Bluemel are set to join the cast.

Sosanya is known for her leading roles in television shows like W1A, Marcella and Last Tango in Halifax. Meanwhile, Bluewel has appeared in Liam Neeson's gripping film The Commuter and Sky's A Discovery of Witches. Also on-board is The Mighty Boosh's Julian Barratt who worked with Sosanya in the comedy flick Nathan Barley.

It is possible that Killing Eve Season 2 will pursue a different storyline considering that head writer Pheobe Walter-Bridge will not handle the creative helm anymore. The writing and executive producer roles will now be managed by Emerald Fennell who acted in Call The Midwife.

Killing Eve Season 2 will soon reveal a pajama-clad Villanelle in a teaser. She is recovering in a hospital, and she is very much alive. A funeral crown with Eve's name is also shown which indicates that intriguing subplots will crop up in the horizon.
