New York's family of cops gets some internal strife going. Blue Bloods Season 9 episode 16 will present the Reagan siblings crossing each other's paths once again. It seems that Jamie, who is portrayed by Will Estes, cannot get along well with any member of his family.
On Blue Bloods Season 9 episode 16, it looks like Jamie has a reason to go after sister Erin who is depicted by Bridget Moynahan. There is this case that the former and Vanessa Ray's Edit "Eddie" Janko handed to Erin. Instead of investigating it, Moynahan's character forwarded it to another case officer.
This is where the plot thickens. Both Eddie and Jamie are being exposed to a smear campaign. A street guy identified as Don Vorhees is behind the move. The emergence of this situation is attributed to Janko's findings of the guy who she expected to be put behind bars.
Eddie's report may have fallen on the wrong hands. Such occurrence can be blamed to Erin who redirected the file to someone else. It is likely that the information is the cause of the propaganda. Vorhees is returning back the favor through a slander approach.
Janko is now having problems focusing on her police work. Her investigation is suddenly being jeopardized. It seems that people are keeping a close eye on her. It will be difficult for Edit to continue doing her responsibilities if her every move is being probed.
Like Eddie, Jamie Reagan has the same problem. Being smeared upon is no joke considering that it will inhibit his promising police career. Since he is presently a sergeant in the force, the likelihood of such an incident can actually block his aspirations to move up the ladder.
Although Erin somewhat initiated the unfortunate circumstance to happen, her options in straightening out the situation are limited. Primarily, Frank Reagan's only daughter has no intention of risking her career. Secondly, she does not intend to disrespect a colleague. Taking back the case will only humiliate the officer. With all these in mind, it seems that Erin will need a lot of thinking about what to do next.
Meanwhile, Blue Bloods Season 9 episode 16 will be revealing a surprise that will probably go both ways. Fans and viewers of the show will get another chance to see Lou Diamond Philips back. Playing as Louis Delgado on the program, the 57-year old actor has confirmed on social media that he is indeed returning.
Philips's role is a cartel hitman who is responsible for the death of Linda Reagan. Also known as the Panther, he will be trading wits with Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan who will go all out to track him down. It is highly likely that Blue Bloods Season 9 episode 16 will present an action-packed subplot.
