In what appears to be a response to a recent reveal regarding the Xbox, Sony has announced seven new titles coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. Read on for more details.
Seven titles, all of them kept under wraps, have been announced for the PS4 and PS4 Pro. These titles are all part of Sony's China Hero Project, which is aimed at helping Chinese game developers bring their games to audiences all over the world, and of course, expand Sony's reach at the consumer-rich region, Express reported.
These titles include "AI-LIMIT," "ANNO: Mutationem," "F.I.S.T," "In Nightmare," "Evotinction," "RAN: Lost Lands," and "Convallaria." ComicBook reports that all of these are slated to release sometime in the near future, but their exact release date remains unknown to the public at the moment. Let's take a quick look at each title.
Developed by Palm Pioneer's Sense Games, AI-LIMIT is an action role-playing game (ARPG) that puts players in control of the game's main female protagonist, Arrisa. The devs said players can customize Arrisa in order to change her abilities and looks to suit their unique playstyles.
A game by Magicfish Studios, In Nightmare, immerses players in a dark world that seems just like how the title wants it to feel: a nightmare. Players take control of a young protagonist as he journeys in a dream world that's as mysterious as it is terrifying.
ANNO: Mutationem, developed by ThinkingStars, is an action game that combines Cyberpunk elements with a unique pixel art style. It features an unnamed heroine as well.
F.I.S.T is an interesting title. Developed by TiGames, it's a metroidvania game set in a diesel-punk action world. It puts players in the shoes of a rabbit armed with a big mechanical arm.
Evotinction is a third-person stealth game set in the future. It attempts to dive deep into the dangers accompanying the rapid advance of technology and features hacking mechanics as well.
RAN: Lost Lands is a large-scale multiplayer online game set in 17th-century background. In it, players take control of different character classes and engage in fights. It features a third-person perspective.
Convallaria is an online game reminiscent of popular titles "Destiny" and "Anthem." It features multiplayer co-op perfect for players who love to finish games quickly, and competitive game modes for those who simply want to have fun fighting against other players.
This announcement comes after reports of Microsoft releasing an all-digital version of the Xbox One S.
