Huawei P30 Pro 7nm Kirin 980 Chipset made a quite impressive score on Geekbench today.

With only a few days left before Huawei P30 Pro finally comes to the market, the company's next flagship device ran through Geekbench and impressive results came out. The cross-platform processor benchmark measurement done revealed that the device will run on software based on Android 9 Pie.

Running through Geekbench, results revealed that the Huawei P30 Pro under the model number VOG-L29 will feature an 8GB of RAM. The result also declares that Huawei's flagship device will be powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset.

The Geekbench measurement result which is 3289 for a single-core score and 9817 for multi-core score brings the Huawei P30 Pro a bit behind the Samsung Exynos 9820. The result although impressive also failed Huawei's flagship phone to make it to the 7nm Apple A12 Bionic chipset score.

The Kirin 980 is a special chipset with four Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, 2 Cortex A76 cores clocked at 1.92GHz and two Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz. This is not the first time that Huawei will use a 7nm processor as Huawei introduced the same silicon through Huawei Mate 20 a few months ago.

March 26 is the most awaited date of the Huawei P30 Pro launch. Expected to be launched together with the flagship phone are the Huawei P30 as well as the P30 Lite. P30 is expected to showcase a 128GB of built-in storage and will have a 6GB or an 8GB of RAM.

A camera is one aspect where Huawei gained grounds upon that is why users are anticipating for another innovative breakthrough for the P30 series. Similar to a prototype released by Oppo, the P30 and P30 Pro will boast at their heavy duty zooming advantage taking the captured images to as much as ten times its original size, thanks to the 10x Optical Zoom.

On the other hand, Huawei is heard to be visiting the P30 series at various government certification agencies to secure certifications avoiding the legal and political controversy. The NCC from Taiwan revealed that devices with model numbers VOG-L29 and ELE-L29 were part of the list of devices securing certifications.

Indonesia also has its own story to tell about Huawei's P30 series securing government certifications. Among their list are devices with model numbers VOG-L29 which is believed to be the P30 Pro, ELE-L29 believed to be the P30 as well as the MAR-LX2 possibly the P30 Lite.
