iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR And iPad Pro now received partial support from Unc0ver 3 iOS 12 Jailbreak.
The Unc0ver 3 beta 44 Jailbreak for iOS 12 has just been released and now gives partial support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPad Pro according to reports that surfaced the internet this week. The good news comes after the @pwn20wnd team labored thoroughly to make the iOS 12 Jailbreak available for the abovementioned devices.
The most recent release of Unc0ver jailbreak for iOS 12.0-12.1.2 partial support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPad Pro means that jailbreaking A12 - 12X Bionic devices is now made possible. This breakthrough comes a few days after Unc0ver released an added support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s as they made the jailbreak available for all 4K devices.
Jailbreak tweaks, however, will not be available as of the moment as iOS 12 Jailbreak Unc0ver 3 beta 44 does not have Cydia available. The iOS 12.0-12.1.2 jailbreak with partial support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPad Pro makes remounting the root filesystem as RW possible as well as blocking the devices' automatic system updates.
The iOS 12 Unc0ver 3 beta 44 Jailbreak partial update comes with the voucher_swap exploit for the beta firmwares on A12-A12X fix and the APT lists cache file for repositories update. The partial update specifics are as follows; Export/Un-Export Kernel Task Port, Set HSP4 as TFP0, Dump APTicket, Overwrite Boot Nonce, Log Slide, Log ECID, Disable Auto Updates, Remount RootFS, Disable App Revokes, Restore RootFS.
iPhone and iPad users, however, must take note that the Unc0ver 3 beta 44 iOS 12 Jailbreak may carry bugs that could cause the problem on the device as it is still a developer version with the public version to be released soon. Using the jailbreak is suggested only to developers or to non-developers willing to take the risk of bugs.
Although without Cydia, there isn't much to do with the Unc0ver 3 beta 44 iOS 12 Jailbreak with partial support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR And iPad Pro, but developers may enjoy the access to root filesystem for A12 and A12X devices so they may be able to optimize iOS 12 tweaks.
There are still no hints on when Cydia or Cydia substrate support will be available for Unc0ver 3 beta44. However, once the developer restriction is eliminated and the Unc0ver 3 beta 44 is made available, the public may then enjoy the update to the fullest.
