iPhone SE2 is officially coming out by the third quarter of 2019 but the much awaited small form-factor smartphone will come in a different name.
News surfacing the internet over the weekend confirmed that iPhone SE2 is on its way to rock the mobile industry before 2019 ends. A reliable source connected to a manufacturing facility in India known as Foxconn revealed that iPhone SE2 will be rolling out production and will be out in the market soon but will be under the name iPhone XE.
If the rumor from the Foxconn source is proven true, then the iPhone XE will follow the iPhone SE trademark of being the answer to users who want an iPhone yet with a limited budget considering the iPhone SE's strategy of making tech innovations available for lower cost. The idea also comes as good news for Apple customers who go for portability.
iPhone SE2 which is now iPhone XE will feature the AMOLED display at a small screen size of 4.8 inches. The screen size, however, does not lower the users' viewing experience as the small form-factor smartphone will come with an edge to edge display maximizing the whole screen space.
Apple's iPhone XE will come with a ƒ/1.8 aperture on its 12 MP camera. The only thing that could probably get in the way of maximum screen display is the presence of the front camera notch which was formerly featured in the past lineup of iPhone releases.
Details from the source also revealed that the iPhone XE formerly iPhone SE2 will stick to the traditional charging although it has not been disclosed if the device will be using the USB-C cord or the Lightning port. iPhone SE2 aluminum back casing featuring the slab design can also be expected as iPhone XE comes out on the third quarter of this year.
Hardware detail revelations remain to be at tidbits as of the moment. However, Apple customers can be assured that iPhone SE2 now known as the iPhone XE will come with no less than the Cupertino tech giant's updated A12 BIONIC chip.
It has been almost two years since the iPhone SE was first introduced in the market. For the months that passed, Apple customers who go for a portable device have been looking forward to the next generation of iPhone SE to be released together with the constant introduction of new iPhones on the market. The rumors on iPhone XE could be the answer to their long-awaited release if proven true.
