Taylor Swift proves very subtly that her feud with Katy Perry is over for good. She does this by adding the latter singer's new song to her playlist.

Taylor Swift has added Katy Perry's latest song, "Never Really Over," to her Apple Music playlist, a sign taken by many to mean that the two have finally gotten over their falling out. It was Friday when the country singer had included Perry's new track to her personally selected music picks. The latter had only just dropped the track Thursday evening, and Swift had not wasted a minute in making the addition, something other music buffs had observed.

The "Shake It Off" singer has a carefully chosen playlist that she refers to as "the soundtrack" to what she feels is her "story" of the "moment." She has described it as her go-to songs list for "dance parties" in her kitchen, or "long drives" going home as well as for her times of "sun-soaked" rumination.

The Grammy-award-winning singer and songwriter also pointed out that she often opted for her selection of songs for her "aggressive bopping" moments. More importantly, Swift has referred to her infamous list as songs she "loved" as well as "appreciated."

Other songs on the list included "Thinkin Bout You" by Ciara and "Want You In My Room" which is from Carly Rae Jepson. There is also Brendon Urie's "Panic!" as well as "Juice" by Lizzo. And the list would not be complete without Swift's own latest "ME!" which had topped the charts only recently, not to mention her collaborator's "Hey Look Ma, I Made It."

As for the "California Gurls" singer, she had gone on to show her Like of a Twitter post by Swift that showed the latter with her new cat, Benjamin Button. It is remembered that the California native, who has voiced the character Smurfette in the 2011 film The Smurfs, was the first to offer the proverbial as well as an actual olive branch to her cat-lover friend, last year.

Perry had sent it to the Reputation Tour performer on her opening night last year. In response to this gesture, Swift shared on Instagram that she had found an "actual olive branch" in her dressing room and expressed that it meant "so much" to her.

Perry's latest release did not just gain Swift's thumbs up. Social media had a blast when "Never Really Over" with its winning music video came out. Various compliments were posted, from "pure art" to "pop perfection." One even claimed it was the "best song" the 34-year-old singer has ever done.
