Xiaomi is reportedly making it happen - the rumored international rollout of the touted flagship killer Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. In the Philippines, for instance, the Chinese device maker has already indicated the arrival of Xiaomi Mi 9T that is believed to be the rebranded K20.

This latest move from the company further stoked the speculations that the Redmi K20 line is indeed morphing into the sequel of a Xiaomi gaming-centric handset that made its mark last year. According to Gadget Match, both the K20 and the Mi 9T will hit the Philippine market with a label familiar to Android mobile gaming fans - the Pocophone.

When this happens, there is a possibility that the anticipated Xiaomi phone will be served in two flavors, namely the Pocophone F2 and the Pocophone F2 Pro.

The same goes when it comes to the Indian market and likely elsewhere where the Pocophone is slated to appear, according to GSM Arena.

"The Redmi K20 Pro is said to appear as Pocophone F2 Pro while the vanilla K20 will be named Pocophone F2. This also means that the phones will be called Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro in India," the report from the tech blog site said.

And to make things more exciting for Poco fans, the same report claimed that both the Pocophone F2 models will retail with the same flagship killer pricing seen with the original. The Pocophone F1 started selling between $300 and $400 when Xiaomi first introduced the brand.

Now if indeed the second coming of Pocophone will be patterned after the Redmi K20 models, it would be a welcome development since everything about the K20 line fits the imagined specs, build and design of a Pocophone F2, according to Android Authority.

On the aspect of hardware specifications, there is no denying the K20 is a beast and therefore the Poco F2 will be. The engine alone inside of the device is monstrous, bannered by the Snapdragon 855 chip that will tap on 6GB or 8GB RAM support. The built-in storage is up to 256GB while the battery is nothing short of massive at 4,000mAh.

The next Pocophone package includes a triple camera setup and the main rear sensor is a Sony IMX586 with 48MP, if true that the K20 is set to be repackaged as such. On the display side, it will be a 6.39-inch OLED panel with a Full HD+ screen resolution, as seen in the two Redmi K20 variants.

Most importantly, the one quality of the Redmi K20 line that will be well-received when extended to the Pocophone F2 is its stunning build and design. In this respect, the perceived absence of gorgeousness on the first Poco effort will be corrected with the Pocophone F2 release, added the Android Authority report.
