Melania caught the eye of an admiring 93-year-old D-Day veteran who flirted with her in front of Trump.

The nonagenarian, Thomas Cuthbert, remarked flirtatiously about the First Lady of the United States when he met her and President Donald Trump at the reception for the 75th D-Day Anniversary event.

Cuthbert, who hailed from Elmstead Market, Essex, seemed quite taken with the First Lady Melania and implied so to her husband, the President of the United States. He said that the 49-year-old Slovenian former model was "nice."

Then he added that "if it wasn't" for the president, and if he were "20 years younger," to which the 72-year-old U.S. President responded, appearing to humor the world war survivor by saying there was no "question about it," that the veteran could "handle it."

Trump also went on to say that it was "my honor," thanking the D-Day hero.

Later, Cuthbert, who was presented the Legion D'Honneur back in 2017, also shared his opinion of the U.S. President. He said the American leader "came across" accordingly "very well" to him.

The former Navy man also expanded, saying Trump "surprised" him. Meeting the President in person was "different" from when seeing him on television. In his estimation, the leader appeared "one of the boys."

Cuthbert, who shared his opinion at the culmination of the event, expressed that Melania was also "very pleasant."  He was later seen sharing a joke with Queen Elizabeth as well as having a word with Prince Charles.

The elderly gentleman was known to have served aboard a landing barge boiler that had been anchored off the shores of Omaha and Utah. He swapped stories with the Prince, who had, in the seventies served in the Royal Navy.

As for President Trump, he had the opportunity to wish a happy birthday to a Wren, Joan Berfield, who had been a coder during the war. Berfield's 95th birthday would be on June 7, she told Trump.

To this, the U.S. President replied, "You're kidding. Melania greeted her a happy birthday, wishing her a "great celebration" and said it was "nice" to have met the coder.

Referring to Berfield's role in the war, Trump commented that the lady had been "well ahead" of her time. He observed that she had done something "pretty sound" and "very smart," too.

Ms. Berfield later said that she was "very surprised" and that Trump had spoken "very quietly," something she said she had not anticipated. According to her, the U.S. President had been quite "interested" in her role during the war and that Melania had been "charming."
