What could be the next iPhone killer features that will make the upcoming models to fly off the shelves once they become available? It is nearly sure that the successor to the iPhone XS line will not boast of a radical redesign. The bump up has to be on the device's shooting prowess, something like the triple camera setup seen in most Android flagships nowadays.
This likely will be the case for the 2019 iPhone release that is rumored to be called the iPhone XI for the regular size and the iPhone XI Max for the supersized edition. According to a new leak, the next iPhone will have a main shooter that essentially was inspired by the Huawei Mate 20.
Citing the information shared by MobileFun, WCCFTech said iPhone fans can expect a significant boost on the next-generation handset's rear camera. Like the Mate 20, the shooting sensors are arranged in a box-like setup though located in the left corner of the back panel.
Within the mechanism, which the report said was hinted by a leaked rear camera protector, it was suggested that the sequel to the iPhone XS will have three sensors for the main shooter, for wide-angle and for telephoto. Also included inside the box are the camera's true-tone flash and microphone.
This latest leak, the same report claimed, is backed by the recent renders depicting how the next iPhone might look and a camera mold that supposedly was sourced from Apple's production facilities in China. So it's safe to say that the accuracy of the latest details is fairly high.
In a related report, Pocket-Lint has indicated that Apple is working to ensure that the next-generation iPhones will have the capability to produce high-quality night photos. That's because the handsets' camera system will be equipped with a dedicated night mode, which proved a powerful shooting feature for rival brands like the Google Pixel 3 and the Huawei P30 Pro.
As for the follow up to the iPhone XR, it appears likely that the 2019 edition will not only get a better camera but also a slightly bigger battery. From the 2,942mAh battery that was used last year, the XR sequel stands to get a 3,110mAh battery, which MacRumors said represent a jump of nearly six percent.
The XR's supposed battery upgrade somehow indicates that the same treatment will be applied on the iPhone XI and its Max version. That would mean higher battery rating for both devices although the exact numbers are unknown at the moment.
Reports have been saying that Apple is on schedule with its production and release calendars for the 2019 iPhone release. It is believed the introduction is happening in September and the actual availability to follow a few weeks after. On launch time, the next iPhone will likewise debut the iOS 13 with Dark Mode as among its highlight features.
