Things are changing on the street in Snowfall season 3 episode 2 so to avoid potential problems in the business, Franklin Saint (played by Damson Idris) decides to change how he operates. Meanwhile, police officer Andrew Wright (played by Marcus Henderson) brings more heat to Franklin now that he has declared they are enemies.

According to the episode synopsis of Snowfall season 3 episode 2, Andre will be investigating the Saints about a murder from years ago. In fact, he has taken in Louie (played by Angela Lewis) for questions about this case at the end of last week's episode.

In a teaser for Snowfall season 3 episode 2, Louie is seen struggling under pressure with the police investigations. The heat from Andre might be getting to her as the cop is determined to take down Franklin's crew. But is it possible that the police have figured out her secret meeting with Claudia Crane (played by Judith Scott)?

Meanwhile, Franklin is shown meeting up with Avi (played by Alon Aboutboul) to ask about cash flow. That's when Franklin decides that he has to change his business model in order to meet the goal of aggressively expanding in Snowfall season 3 episode 2.

The final scene of the teaser shows Andrew and Franklin facing off. If it weren't for the people nearby, these two would surely have a go at killing each other, but it's pretty clear that there's no more turning back for both characters when a full-blown war is on.

Snowfall follows the emergence of crack cocaine in Los Angeles. At the center of the story are the Saints, led by Franklin, with the third season focusing on the expansion of his drug traffic network.

The new season, which premiered last July 10, will run for 10 episodes similar to the first and second season. The show is pressing on despite suffering a loss when its co-creator John Singleton suffered a stroke and died last April.

The cast and crew were all present when FX mounted a special premiere for Snowfall season 3 in honor of Singleton, per ABC. Carter Hudson (as Teddy McDonald) said that this was what their boss would've wanted -- for everyone to return to work and be proud of what they have accomplished.

"Let's just be real: He's missed already," actor Amin Joseph (as Jerome Saint) said. "John would have come out here already, like, 'Come on, y'all! Come on! Let's go. Let's go!'
